Lors de mon dernier voyage à Amsterdam, j’ai séjourné une nuit au Lloyd Hôtel. L’hôtel est une merveille d’histoire d’architecture et de design. La première ouverture du Lloyd Hôtel était en 1920, construit par le Royal Dutch Lloyd. Pour les années 20, l’architecture éclectique de Evert Breman était impressionnante ; et croyez moi, c’est toujours le cas aujourd’hui !
Grâce au travail de nombreux designers et artistes qui ont travaillé sur la décoration intérieure, le Lloyd Hôtel est maintenant un merveilleux lieu de design faisant correspondre l’histoire unique du bâtiment avec un design contemporain !
During my last trip in Amsterdam, I staid one night at the Lloyd Hotel. The hôtel is a wonderful piece of history, architecture and design. The first opening of the Lloyd Hotel was in 1920, built by the Royal Dutch Lloyd. For the 20’s the eclectic architecture of Evert Breman was considered impressive ; and trust me, it’s still the case now.
With the work of a lot of designers and artists who worked on the interior , the Lloyd Hotel is now a wonderful place of design, matching the building’s history with modern design.
À de nombreux égards le Lloyd Hôtel m’a rappelé l’hôtel dans la saison 4 d’American Horror Story, avec beaucoup plus de goûts… Et sans les meurtres, évidemment ! Cet Hôtel est véritablement une expérience. À vos premiers pas au sein de l’établissement, vous sentirez l’atmosphère si particulière du lieu et toute son histoire.
C’est l’un des hôtels les plus unique dans lequel j’ai eu l’occasion de séjourner, le Lloyd Hôtel a un choix éclectique de chambre allant du 1 aux 5 étoiles. L’hôtel est situé dans l’est d’Amsterdam dans les docks. Je pense que cette zone est en plein développement et que c’est un lieu très prometteur pour Amsterdam !
Notre chambre était super ! Le lit queen size était juste parfait après une longue journée d’exploration d’Amsterdam. Au niveau de la vue, nous avions deux grandes fenêtres lumineuses qui donnaient sur la rue et les docks ! J’ai particulièrement apprécié le petit-déjeuner le lendemain matin.
In some aspect the Lloyd Hotel remind me the Hotel in American Horror Story season 4 with more taste… and without the creepy murders, Obvi! This hotel is an experience. At your first steps inside the building you will feel the atmosphere of the place and all the history.
This is one of the most unique hotels I’ve ever been in, the Lloyd Hotel has an eclectic assortment of rooms. The hotel is located in east Amsterdam in the docklands. I think This area is an up and coming place in Amsterdam. Our room was great. The queen size bed was just perfect after a long day exploring Amsterdam! In the room, we had massive grand windows in the bedroom which looked upon the street ! I really enjoyed the breakfast the morning.
